Terms of Service

Jamie Jordan Law Effective Date: August 17, 2026

Welcome to the website of Jamie Jordan Law ("Firm," "we," "us," or "our"). These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of this website (the "Site"), including all content, features, and services offered on or through it. By accessing or using the Site, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.

1. No Attorney-Client Relationship

Use of this Site, including submitting information through our contact form, requesting a consultation, or calling our office, does not create an attorney-client relationship between you and Jamie Jordan Law or any of its attorneys. An attorney-client relationship is formed only when the Firm agrees to represent you in a signed, written engagement agreement.

Please do not send confidential or time-sensitive information through the Site's contact form, email, or any unsecured channel until an attorney-client relationship has been formally established. Any information you submit before that point may not be treated as privileged or confidential.

2. No Legal Advice

The content on this Site — including text, blog posts, FAQs, and other materials relating to divorce, child custody, property division, child support, order modifications, paternity, domestic violence, grandparent rights, spousal support, adoption, and other family law topics — is provided for general informational purposes only and does not constitute legal advice. Laws vary by jurisdiction and change over time, and the application of law to any specific situation requires individualized legal analysis. You should not act, or refrain from acting, based on information on this Site without seeking advice from a licensed attorney regarding your particular circumstances.

The Firm's attorneys are licensed to practice in the State of Texas and primarily serve clients in Fort Bend County and Brazoria County. Nothing on this Site should be construed as legal advice for matters outside Texas or as solicitation of business in any jurisdiction where the Firm or its attorneys are not licensed or authorized to practice.

3. Use of the Site

You agree to use the Site only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You agree not to:

  • Use the Site in any way that violates applicable federal, state, or local law;
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Site, its servers, or any connected systems or networks;
  • Interfere with or disrupt the operation of the Site or the servers/networks used to make it available;
  • Use any automated system (bots, scrapers, spiders, etc.) to access the Site without our prior written consent;
  • Transmit any virus, malware, or other harmful code through the Site; or
  • Impersonate any person or entity, or misrepresent your affiliation with any person or entity, when submitting information through the Site.

We reserve the right to restrict or terminate your access to the Site, at our discretion, if we believe you have violated these Terms.

4. Intellectual Property

All content on the Site — including text, graphics, logos, images, and the overall design and layout — is owned by or licensed to Jamie Jordan Law and is protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You may view and print pages from the Site for your own personal, non-commercial use, but you may not reproduce, distribute, modify, publicly display, or create derivative works from any content on the Site without our prior written permission.

5. Payments

If you become a client of the Firm, certain payments (such as retainer and fee payments) may be processed through LawPay, a third-party payment platform designed for law firm trust and operating accounts. Your use of LawPay is subject to LawPay's own terms of service and privacy policy, in addition to the terms of your engagement agreement with the Firm. We are not responsible for the availability, performance, or security of third-party payment processing services.

6. Third-Party Links and Social Media

The Site may contain links to third-party websites, including our social media pages on Facebook, Instagram, and YouTube, and our LawPay payment portal. These links are provided for convenience only. We do not control, endorse, or assume responsibility for the content, privacy practices, or terms of any third-party site, and your use of those sites is at your own risk and subject to their own terms.

7. Advertising Communications

If you have designated our Site or firm as an "advertisement" in accordance with Texas Disciplinary Rules of Professional Conduct, please be aware: "Not Certified by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization." Descriptions of prior case results do not guarantee or predict a similar outcome in any future matter, as every case depends on its own particular facts and circumstances.

8. Disclaimers

THE SITE AND ALL CONTENT ARE PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE," WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, NON-INFRINGEMENT, OR ACCURACY OF CONTENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SITE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR FREE OF VIRUSES OR OTHER HARMFUL COMPONENTS.

9. Limitation of Liability

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, JAMIE JORDAN LAW AND ITS ATTORNEYS, EMPLOYEES, AND AGENTS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF DATA, USE, GOODWILL, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES, ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO YOUR ACCESS TO OR USE OF, OR INABILITY TO ACCESS OR USE, THE SITE, EVEN IF WE HAVE BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.

Nothing in these Terms limits or excludes liability that cannot be limited or excluded under applicable law.

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Jamie Jordan Law and its attorneys, employees, and agents from any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of or in any way connected with your use of the Site or your violation of these Terms.

11. Governing Law

Any legal action or proceeding arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Site shall be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Fort Bend County, Texas, and you consent to the personal jurisdiction of such courts.

We may revise these Terms at any time by updating this page. Changes are effective as soon as they are posted. Your continued use of the Site after any changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms. We encourage you to review this page periodically.

13. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, that provision will be limited or eliminated to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions will remain in full force and effect.
